“The hotel is a converted old National Guard armory building, and the conversion was done well. The outside has picturesque parapets and iron bar studded widows. The interior features a large hall that is used for catering events. The sides of the building interior is studded with guest rooms. The rooms are spacious with nice furniture and amenities. The large 3rd floor common rooms were decorated with quality vintage furniture, paintings and tasteful taxidermy. Easy walking distance to nice...

“There was no phone, even to the front desk. TheDirectv was horrible. Bath/shower plumbing was difficult to deal with. Was not informed a new roof was going to be installed in the morning. Pounding early in the morning about gave me a heart attack!!”

“The property is very convient to the area resteraunts and stores. It is alos conveinient to the sunshine Fairgrounds. The staff were super helpful and friendly. My room needed minor maintainance while I was there and that was done immediately with no fuss. The only issue I had was that the rooms could use a " facelift". Also the coffee machine in the breakfast area makes terrible coffee. There's a machine in the room however, which makes great coffe, you just need to get cream and sugar...

“Checking in took longer than expected”

“L'hotel non è molto curato e si trova in una zona in cui non c'è praticamente quasi nulla da vedere. Scelto solo perché si trova a circa 1 ora e mezzo di macchina da Lake George. Personale sbrigativo e non molto cordiale. Non ho apprezzato per niente il fatto che ci siamo camere fumatori accanto a camere non fumatori, nei corridoi c'era sempre puzza di fumo, anche con le finestre aperte. Non c'è l'ascensore (anche se sono solo 3 piani...quando ci sono le valigie da portarsi dietro risulta...
